1. Information we collect
When you use ShinyReel, we may process account information, images, videos or audio that you choose to upload, prompts, generated results, device and network information, and usage and transaction records. We do not use uploaded materials, prompts, or generated results for advertising targeting or cross-app or cross-site tracking.
2. How we use information
We use this information to provide and maintain image and video creation features, fulfill AI generation requests, manage accounts and digital entitlements, protect the service, improve the product, and meet legal obligations.
3. Storage and security
- Your uploaded materials and generated results are stored in Alibaba Cloud OSS.
- We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
- Uploaded materials are retained for 7 days, and generated results for 30 days, after which they are cleared automatically.
- Specific retention periods may be adjusted according to your entitlements and the product configuration.
4. Third-party services
We use Volcano Engine Ark Seedream / Seedance to process AI image and video generation requests and Alibaba Cloud OSS to store uploaded materials and generated results. Apple IAP, Paddle, or Alipay processes payments depending on platform and region, while Google AdMob or Tencent Ads may provide advertising depending on region. We transfer data only as necessary to provide the service, do not sell personal information, and require providers to handle data lawfully.
5. Content safety
The AI generation services integrated into this product include built-in content moderation. You may not use the service to generate or distribute unlawful or infringing content. If violating content is found, we may suspend the service and cooperate with investigation requirements of the relevant authorities.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access and review your personal information;
- delete your account and its associated data;
- export your generated results;
- cancel a subscription at any time;
- withdraw your authorization for onward third-party AI data transfer, through "Settings → AI generation material authorization", where the app displays that control.
After an account is closed, projects, materials and generation records are removed from the operational systems immediately, and the associated object-storage files enter a reliable deletion queue with continued retries. Transaction and audit records that must be retained by law are kept for the statutory period after direct identifying information has been removed.
Closing your account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it separately in your Apple ID subscription settings. Website access is purchased once for the period selected and does not renew automatically; closing your account does not automatically refund a completed website payment.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by in-app notice or SMS. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated policy.
