ShinyReel Terms of Service

1. The service

ShinyReel is an AI image and short-video creation software product. It provides text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video tools and is developed and operated by 嘉兴十一科技有限公司 (Jiaxing Eleven Technology Co., Ltd.).

2. Account registration and security

• 2.1 You undertake to provide a genuine and accurate mobile number or email address when registering an account.
• 2.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account, and may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else.
• 2.3 If you discover unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.

3. Rules of use

• 3.1 You may not use the software to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, adult, violent, hateful, false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• 3.2 You must own or have authorization to use all uploaded materials.
• 3.3 You may not use the software to impersonate another person or infringe intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights.
• 3.4 AI-generated results may be unpredictable, and we do not guarantee a particular quality, style, or fitness for purpose.

4. Payment and refunds

• 4.1 The service is charged on an "access period plus credit top-up" model.
• 4.2 Credits are consumed once a generation request is submitted, and are returned only when the task fails. Dissatisfaction with a result is not by itself a ground for a refund.
• 4.3 Subscriptions on iOS are provided through Apple In-App Purchase and follow Apple's refund policy. Payments on the website are completed through Paddle or Alipay, depending on region, as clearly shown at checkout, and follow the rules of the relevant payment channel and applicable law.
• 4.4 iOS subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Website access is purchased once for the period you select; it does not charge automatically, and you may buy a further period after it expires.
• 4.5 Deleting your ShinyReel account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription and does not automatically refund a completed website payment. Refund requests should be made through the original payment channel or by contacting support, under the applicable rules.

5. Intellectual property

• 5.1 You retain your rights in material you lawfully upload. The permitted use of generated content is subject to applicable law, the terms of third-party model services, and the rights in the underlying material.
• 5.2 Intellectual property in the ShinyReel name, logo, interface design and underlying code belongs to the ShinyReel team.
• 5.3 The AI generation models used by the service are provided by third-party model providers, and intellectual property in those models belongs to their respective owners.

6. Labelling of AI-generated content

• 6.1 The service adds a visible marker such as "AI generated" at an appropriate position on generated images and within generated video frames, and — where provider capability and production configuration allow — adds an implicit marker in file metadata or content for identification and traceability. The exact presentation may change in line with laws, regulations, national standards, or provider capability.
• 6.2 You may not maliciously remove, alter, forge or conceal a synthetic-content marker that has been added as required by law.
• 6.3 When publishing or distributing generated content to the public, you should state that it is AI-generated and comply with the labelling rules of the platform you publish on.

7. Disclaimer

• 7.1 The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• 7.2 We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, provider failures or network outages, but we will use reasonable efforts to restore service.
• 7.3 You are responsible for any dispute with a third party arising from AI-generated content you create using the service.

8. Changes to and termination of the service

• 8.1 We may adjust the content of the service or its pricing, or discontinue the service, as our operations require, and will give you advance notice.
• 8.2 If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.
• 8.3 After an account is terminated, we handle your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

The formation, performance and interpretation of these Terms, and the resolution of any dispute under them, are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. In the event of a dispute, the parties should seek to resolve it amicably; failing that, it shall be submitted to a competent People's Court. This does not affect any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
